Dr. Akkan Suver Attended the Silk Road Golden Men Awards Ceremony

Dr. Akkan Suver, the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, attended the Silk Road Golden Men Awards Ceremony and presented the award to businessman Ramazan Uğural, together with Member of the Parliament of Çanakkale Rıdvan Uz. Among the attendees at the Golden Men Awards Ceremony, organized by Seyfullah Türksoy for the past 20 years, were Şamil Ayrım, Prof. Dr. Aygün Attar, and Dr. Tenzile Rüstemhanlı.

Dr. Akkan Suver, the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, was awarded the Medal of Love and Peace by Dr. Hong Tao Tze, President of FOWPAL (Federation of World Peace and Love) based in the United States. Dr. Akkan Suver stated that the medal was awarded not to him personally but to the Turkish Civil Society for the peace efforts made on the international stage.

Robot "Ada" Became a Member of the Marmara Group Foundation at the 27th Eurasian Economic Summit

The Eurasian Economic Summit made history by achieving a first worldwide. For the first time ever, an autonomous robot equipped with artificial intelligence became a member of a civil society organization. Dr. Akkan Suver, the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, pinned the membership badge onto Ada, the humanoid robot, who is the newest and youngest member of the Foundation.

Loyalty Award to Yüksel Çengel

Yüksel Çengel, one of the eminent figures of the Marmara Group Foundation, was honored with the Loyalty Award by the Beylikdüzü CHP Organization. Özgür Çelik, representing the Mayor of Beylikdüzü, Mehmet Murat Çalık, presented the Honorary Award to Yüksel Çengel, who has held positions such as Mayor of Avcılar Municipality, Member of Parliament for Istanbul, and Istanbul Provincial Chairmanship within the CHP. We congratulate Yüksel Çengel on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew marked his 84th birthday. On the occasion of his birthday, a religious ceremony was held at the Fener Rum Patriarchate. Following the religious ceremony, the Patriarch hosted a lunch for close friends at the Moda Sea Club. The Marmara Group Foundation congratulates Patriarch Bartholomew on his new age and wishes him health, happiness, and prosperity.

We have lost our friend Cemal Bilgiç, Marmara Group Foundation Board of Trustees Member Cemal Bilgiç, the father of Marmara Group Foundation Secretary General Sezgin Bilgiç and Marmara Group Foundation Board of Trustees Member Göksel Bilgiç. As Marmara Group Foundation, we share the great pain of the Bilgiç family. We wish our dear friend Mr Cemal Bilgiç mercy from God Almighty. We wish patience to the Bilgiç family. The funeral ceremony of our dear friend Cemal Bilgiç will be held on Friday (23.02.2024) after the afternoon prayer at Gümüşyaka Mosque and then buried in Gümüşyaka Cemetery.
