Dr. Akkan Suver, President of Marmara Group Foundation visited Seniha Birand Çınar, Consul General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in her office within the framework of the informational studies of the 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit. Dr. Akkan Suver also congratulated Seniha Birand Çınar, who had just started her duty in Istanbul. Consul Cahit Kayıarslan was also present during the visit.

Youth Participation on Democratic Process Seminar

The seminars which is organized within the scope of our project continue in Marmara University. Assoc. Dr. Prof. Yonca Özer moderated the seminar titled The Importance of Political Participation for Democracy: Democratic Participation of Young People '. Prof. Dr. Serhat Güvenç shared his experiences on participation in democratic processes and the mechanisms of participation. EU and Human Rights Platform President Müjgan Suver presented the Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy project. The Director of the Institute for European Studies hosted the seminar. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Dartan and our project partner Kenan Kolat of the Turkish-German Institute, Dr. Ertekin Özcan and Cem Gençtürk also participated in the seminar.
