As part of the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit workings, on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver visited the Consul General of Belarus Hon. Igor Bely in his Office and gave related information. While the visit Dr. Suver extended his thanks to the Consul General for the participation and contribution of Belarus during the previous Summit and added that they would be very glad to see Belarus participating as the Ministery level to the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit.

Gözlem Newspaper which publishes in Izmir, celebrated its 25th year. During the celebration evening that was held in historical Gazhane Building in Izmir, politicians, state responsibles, distinguished personalities and press members in İzmir took part alongside the founding president of the Newspaper Hon. Çetin Gürel and the female owner Mrs. Zeynep Gürel. Zeynep Gürel reflected her feelings regarding maintaining a Newspaper apart from Istanbul and carrying out a newspaper through 25 years with difficulties and responsibilities as saying ‘’ We have believed in Gözlem. FAREWELL DINNER FOR THE AMBASSADOR OF SLOVENIA IN ANKARA H.E. MILAN JAZBEC

Marmara Group Foundation hosted a farewell dinner in Istanbul for the Ambassador of Slovenia in Ankara H.E. Milan Jazbec on the occasion of the end of his mission. During the dinner, Marmara Group Foundation extended their gratitude for their great interest and attention to the Eurasian Economic Summits and to the Foundation. Ambassador Milan Jazbec gave a promise to be the representative of the Marmara Group Foundation in Slovenia in following years.

Dr. Akkan Suver made a courtesy visit to the Consul General of the Republic of Poland Hon. Grzegorz Michalski as part of the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit to be held next year on April. During the visit, they also discussed the common subjects, relations and workings between the Marmara Group Foundation and the ‘’think – thank’’ institutions of Poland.

MUJGAN SUVER ATTENDED THE OPENING OF THE 20TH INTERNATIONAL SOROPTIMIST CONFERENCE

Chairwoman of the EU and Human Rights Platform of the Marmara Group Foundation attended the 20th İstanbul meeting International Soroptimist Conference that was held in Istanbul Hilton Bosphorus Hotel on July 9, 2015. There were around 1500 delegation participating from different countries of the World to this conference. Mrs. Mujgan Suver met with the Indian Soroptimits during this conference which Mrs. Lawyer Emine Erdem organized.
