Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of Bangladesh in Istanbul, Mohammad Monirul Islam, as part of the promotional visits of 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit. During the visit, Dr. Akkan Suver presented information to the Consul General of Bangladesh Mohammad Monirul Islam about the Eurasian Economic Summits and requested support for the participation of Bangladesh.

EU and Human Rights Platform of Marmara Group Foundation Chairwoman Mrs. Müjgan Suver visited General Manager Sait Tosyalı of Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey at foundation office. Mrs. Müjgan Suver, who promoted the project in order to cooperate with Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey within the scope of the Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy Project carried out by Marmara Group Foundation, invited the General Manager of Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey to the 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit. Marmara Group Foundation presented The Medal of Honor of the Marmara Group Foundation with a ceremony organized for Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh in Baku. Ambassador of Turkey to Baku Ekan Özoral together with officials in Baku by Turkey's Religious Affairs participated to the ceremony where Dr. Akkan Suver, MP Şamil Ayrım, Cafer Okray, Cengiz Güldamlası, Ural Aküzüm from Marmara Group Foundation. Valeh Aleskerov, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly from the Azerbaijan Parliament together with Deputies Eldar İbrahimov and Cevanşir Paşazade were also present at the Medal of Honor ceremony. At the Medal of Honor Ceremony, Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech that brought the high values of Allahshukur Pashazadeh among the world religious leaders as well as the Islamic world.

Dr. Akkan Suver donated part of his Library to 29 Mayıs University some time ago. A delegation consisting of Prof. Dr. Ali Bardakoğlu, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çağrıcı and Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, on behalf of the 29 May University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sinanoğlu, visited Dr. Akkan Suver at the Marmara Group Foundation and presented a thank you letter and plaque on behalf of the University and the Rector. Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Assoc. Seminar on Women Rights in Turkey and EU

Seminars continue under the Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy Project. The opening speeches were given by the Chairwoman of the EU and Human Rights Platform Müjgan Suver, at the Goztepe Campus of Marmara University. Assoc. Dr. Zeynep Alemdar gave information about women's participation in political processes. She emphasized that women should be more involved in international relations and foreign policy. The participation and interest of Marmara University students were great in the seminar, moderated by Assoc. Dr. İmre Ersoy.
