Azerbaijan Journalists Union awarded Dr. Akkan Suver the "Veteran Journalist Gold Medal" for his work on Azerbaijan friendship. Emil Nasırlı, the owner of Azerbaycanım Magazine, presented the medal to Dr. Suver and stated: "Akkan Suver is the son of Azerbaijan. Not only us journalists, every Azerbaijani knows this, knows and loves him. Because he is a lover of Azerbaijan."

We lost businessman Sadettin Sükan, one of the volunteers of the Marmara Group Foundation and one of the doyens of Turkish equestrianism. Making a statement on the occasion of Sadettin Sükan's death, Dr. Akkan Suver said: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sadettin Sükan, who had important work in the works of the Marmara Group Foundation and in the activities of the Eurasian Economic Summits. Dr. Akkan Suver was awarded the Silk Road Award for his successful work in the field of civil society in 2020. Dr. Akkan Suver, who could not attend the Silk Road Award Ceremony on 26 June 2021, due to his excuse. The Award to Dr. Akkan Suver was presented by Seyfullah Türksoy at the Marmara Group Foundation. Zoom Conference with the Chinese Embassy

Bilateral relations were brought to the agenda with a Zoom conference organized by the Ankara Embassy of the People's Republic of China. On the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party and the 50th Anniversary of relations between Turkey and China, Dr. Akkan Suver spoke at the online conference organized by the Ankara Embassy of the People's Republic of China. In the conference which started with the opening speech of Liu Shaobin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, in addition to Dr. Akkan Suver, İhsan Beşer, Korhan Kurdogu, Hakan Celik, Ali Koçakoğlu, Hasan Capan, Zhou Yan Quan and Hilal Zorba made presentations. Bringing the "Belt and Road Project" to the agenda as serious opportunities for the two countries, the speakers emphasized that there are opportunities in a number of areas from agriculture to transportation, from the development of technology products to the dissemination of digital trade channels. Speakers also stated that tourism may be the sector that can grow the fastest, and they believe that Ankara and Beijing have a lot to achieve together.

The Ministry of Diaspora of Azerbaijan gave a grand Victory Reception at the Polat Hotel in Istanbul on the occasion of the Day of the Azerbaijan Army, hosted by Minister Fuad Muratov. Azerbaijan Diaspora Minister Fuat Muradov, who made a concise speech at the Victory Reception attended by senior generals from the Azerbaijan Armed Forces and veterans receiving treatment in Turkish Hospitals along with General and senior officers from the Turkish Armed Forces, stated “It is the work of Ilham Aliyev's determination and the excellence of Turkey-Azerbaijan relations,”. Making a speech at the Victory Reception, Turkey-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group President Istanbul Deputy Şamil Ayrım shared his memories from Karabakh, where he went four times after the war, and from his visit to Shusha with the participation of two Presidents.
