Within the scope of the promotional visits of the 24th Eurasian Economic Summit, Dr. Akkan Suver has paid a visit to Kosovo Consul General in Istanbul Hon. Mrs. Suzan NOVOBRDALIJA. Officials of the Consulate General of Kosovo in Istanbul were also present during the visit. Dr. Akkan Suver invited H.E. Vjosa Osmani, who was elected as the new President of Kosovo, as the Guest of Honor to the 24th Eurasian Economic Summit, while emphasizing the important place of Kosovo in the Eurasian Economic Summits. Dr. Akkan Suver also highlighted the great importance they attach to Kosovo's representation. After the visit to the Consul General of Kosovo in Istanbul, Hon. Mrs. Suzan Novobrdalija, whose name is in the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo, Hon. Mrs. Suzan Novobrdalija presented Akkan Suver a commemorative gift symbolizing Turkish-Kosovo cooperation.

We lost the 20th Prime Minister and 15. Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Yildirim Akbulut. During his prime ministry, Yıldırım Akbulut, who honored the Marmara Group Foundation's meetings as a guest speaker at various times, also attended our Sevgi Iftarı we held in 1999. Visit to Perisa Kastratovic, Ambassador of Montenegro in Ankara

Dr. Akkan Suver, the President of Marmara Group Foundation, who is continuing his contacts regarding the 24th Eurasian Economic Summit in Ankara, met with the Ambassador of Montenegro H.E. Perisa Kastratovic in his office in Ankara. Consular relations and civil society contacts were brought to the agenda during the meeting held on two issues. Ambassador H. E. Perisa Kastratovic presented information to Dr. Akkan Suver on the working principles of the Foreign Ministry of Montenegro. On the civil society part of the meeting, Dr. Akkan Suver who has presented the thanks of the Marmara Group Foundation to Ambassador H.E. Perisa Kastratovic for the high interest shown by Montenegro to the Eurasian Economic Summits, requested continuation of their interest this year for the 24th Eurasian Economic Summit that is going to be held on 7-9 July 2021 with a high level of attendance. We lost Nikos Manginas

One of the friends of the Marmara Group Foundation and one of the closest persons to Patriarch Bartholomeos in the Istanbul Greek Patriarchate, Press advisor, journalist-photographer Niko Manginas died at the age of 68 due to COVID-19. Nikola Nikolaidis, the grandfather of Niko Manginas, was one of the Çanakkale martyrs. The President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and the General Secretary of the Marmara Group Foundation Cafer Okray was present with their friends at the funeral in which Patriarch Bartholomeos also attended.

Turkish Jockey Club Eurasian Economic Summit race was held

The annual Eurasian Economic Summit race that is held annually within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Summits, was held this year on 7 April 2021 Wednesday in Istanbul Veliefendi Hippodrome. The race where 4 years old or older British breed and took place in a 2100 meters synthetic track was won this year by Necati Demirkol’s horse Sensizim (Zoffany – Phrase / Royal Anthem). The EURASIA ECONOMY SUMMITS CUP Race, which has been a tradition for years, was held without spectators this year due to the COVID-19 epidemic and the horse named Bozdağ Bey won the second place and the horse named Kızıl Yağız won the third place in the race formed by British horses of 4 years old and above. Marmara Group Foundation; is in gratitude to the Turkish Jockey Club for the high attention that they have shown to the Eurasian Economic Summits.
