At the 12th Anniversary of Haydar ALIYEV’s death, Dr. Akkan Suver: We Bow Respectfully to the Greatest Leader of Turkic World. Rest in Peace. At the 12th Anniversary of His Demise, H.E. Haydar ALIYEV, the late President of Azerbaijan has been commemorated with the ceremonies held both in Ankara and Istanbul. Mr. Şamil Ayrım, as the representative of the Marmara Group Foundation, participated in the Commemoration Ceremony organised at Haydar Aliyev Park in Ankara by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Faik Bagirov. Mr. Şamil Ayrım delivered a statement on the Legendary President of Azerbaijan subsequent to the Commemoration Ceremony joined by the Vice-Premier of the incumbent government of Turkey, Mr. Tuğrul Türkeş and the Chairman of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Necdet Ünüvar. Dr. Akkan Suver and Mr. Cengiz Güldamlası represented the Marmara Group Foundation during the Commemoration Ceremony arranged at the Sarıyer- Haydar Aliyev Park in Istanbul by Hon. Esmira Hüseyinova, the Istanbul Consul General of Azerbaijan. After the laying of wreaths at the Haydar Aliyev Monument, the whole participants of the Commemoration Ceremony placed a wreath at the Atatürk’s Monument as well.

The Art Community of the Kazakh National Art University held a concert in Istanbul on occasion of the Independence Day of the Kazakhstan Republic. The concert was watched by the Executive Directors of the Marmara Group Foundation, Mrs. Müjgan and Mr. Akkan Suver; among others many statesmen were also available. The concert of the Art Community of the Kazakh National Art University taking place at the Zorlu Performance Arts Centre on the Independence Day of the Kazakh Republic and Founding President was the centre of interest and received a great recognition.
