The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Belgrade, the Secretary General of IFSPD Eldar Hasanov who is the regular participant of Eurasian Economic Summits was granted to the MEDAL OF HONOR OF THE MARMARA GROUP FOUNDATION at the 17th General Assembly of the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development. On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, The Medal of Honor was given by Dr.Akkan Suver, Engin Köklüçınar and Lamiya Veliyeva. The Medal of Honor was supposed to be presented to Dr.Eldar Hasanov at the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit however he could not attent to the summit. During the presentation of the medal with ceremony by Dr.Akkan Suver and Engin Köklüçınar, The members of the General Assembly gave a standing ovation to Ambassador Eldar Hasanov.

Speaking at the 17th General Assembly of the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development, the President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr.Akkan Suver made a presentation called "The New Silk Road and the Dialogue of Civilization." In his presentation moderated by the famous Azerbaijani author Cengiz Abdullayev, Akkan Suver emphasized that One Belt-One Road Project is candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize as peace project of future. The 17th General Assembly of International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development Foundation convened in Istanbul. The opening of the meeting was made by the Presidential Press Secretary Ibrahim Kalin. For to be presented to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, an award was given to İbrahim Kalın at the 17th General Assembly of the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development which Dr. Akkan Suver had been among them 10 years ago. Founders of the Foundation Eldar Hasanov, Dr. Akkan Suver, Cingiz Abdullayev, Viktor Khmarin, Prof.Dr. Dossym Suleyev and Yıldız Oskonbeyeva together with President Dimitar Kostov presented the award to Ibrahim Kalın.

Consulate General of Bulgaria in Istanbul Celebrates National Day

National Day of Bulgaria was celebrated. Ambassador of Bulgaria to Ankara Nadejda Nayenski, Consul General of Bulgaria in Istanbul Angel Angelov, Deputy Governor of İstanbul İsmail Gültekin and President of Marmara Group Foundation Akkan Suver and Müjgan Suver, as well as a large number of representatives of diplomatic missions attended the reception at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in İstanbul. With specifying that he is pleased to celebrate the National Day of Bulgaria in Turkey during his speech at the reception, the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Ankara Nadejda Nayenski said that bilateral relations are getting stronger every year. Before the reception, the young people from the city of Nessebar in Bulgaria made a demonstration on the occasion of the celebrations of the Father Marta (Grandma March).

Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul with Bağcılar Municipality organized Martyrs Commemoration Program for Khojaly Massacre Martyrs for the 27th Anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide. For that purpose, hundreds of people from Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus forgathered in Bagcilar Square at 14.30. Crowd which were carrying flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey in their hands marched rush hour at 14:30. Participants who opened a giant banner written " We will not forget the Khojaly Massacre" shouted slogans along the way with saying "Martyrs are immortal our land is indivisible" and "Justice for Khojaly".
