Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation and Honorary Consul General of Montenegro and Branko Milic, Ambassador of Montenegro to Turkey visited Mevlüt Uysal, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. During the visit, Ambassador Branko Milic presented some detailed information over the Turkey-Montenegro relationship. Dr. Akkan Suver and Mayor Mevlüt Uysal talked about the Eurasian Economic Summits and Dr. Suver presented two books to Mevlüt Uysal as a gift. One of these was written about Montenegro and another one consists of Mayor Mevlüt Uysal's speech which was held in the Eurasian Economic Summit in 2013.

The Marmara Group Foundation visited newly-elected İsmail Gülle, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) with its identity of civil society in his office. A delegation from the Marmara Group Foundation, which consisted of Dr. Akkan Suver, Nuri Artok, Turan Sarıgülle and Attorney Serhat Tabanca, participated in the visit. Dr. Akkan Suver, shared some details about the Eurasian Economic Summits. Chairman Ismail Gülle emphasized the significance of the Summits and added that they, as the Turkish Exporters Assembly, will take part in the next Summit.

Azerbaijani Guys to visit Dr. Suver

Elmin Sadıgov ve Faig Aliyev, who are the representatives of the Friendship and Cooperation Alliance of Azerbaijani-Turkish Historians, which is under the process of establishment, visited Dr. Akkan Suver in his office. Dr. Akkan Suver emphasized the significance of the way which the guys walk and he brought on the agenda the keeping the values of ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan alive. Dr. Suver, who expressed his thoughts about the notion of "one state", talked about the values which were brought by Ilham Aliyev, who took the heritage from Haydar Aliyev. At the visit, Azerbaijani guys expressed the importance of value that they give to Dr. Suver. After the visit, Dr. Suver presented several books as a gift to the guys.

We mark the anniversary of Happy Peace Operation which conducted 44 years ago by Turkish Armed Forces to say "stop" to the mass destruction campaign against the Turks who live in the Cyprus Island. Dr. Akkan Suver made a statement concerning the anniversary of this great operation and said "we are very proud of all our martyrs and we would like to commemorate them, especially late Rauf Denktaş and Dr. Fazıl Küçük on this great day. Dr. Suver's statement as following: "Turkey, which used its guarantor rights designated in 1960 Zurich and London Agreements, intervened in the island because of the constant increase of the atrocious attacks against Cypriot Turks. This was really a peace operation. Since then, Turkish Cypriots continue to live in peaceful and democratic environment. Today, Turkish Cypriots are in safety thanks to this great and successful operation. I would like to commemorate Rauf Denktaş, the great leader of Turkish Cypriots, and Dr. Fazıl Küçük with great respect and gratitude once more on the 44th anniversary of this great operation.
