H.E. Heinz Fischer who served as the President of Austria between 2004 and 2016 accepted Dr. Akkan Suver and Mrs. Müjgan Suver at the Imperial Palace (Hofburg). Dr. Akkan Suver invited President Heinz Fischer to the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit. Dr. Akkan Suver extended his sincere thanks to the Austrian State for the Medal that he was awarded with through the personality of Heinz Fischer. Also President Fischer presented a book that he published on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Austrian State. Mr. Birol Kılıç and Mr. Mustafa Vural also took part at the visiting.

Dr. Akkan Suver to be the Guest of Honour at the Vienna Economic Forum

Vienna Economic Forum started its 15th Jubilee - Economy meets Politics with a reception on November 18, 2018 at the Imperial Hotel. Dr. Akkan Suver took part as the Guest of Honour at the Forum held with the opening speech of Dr. Günther Rabensteiner and Prof. Dr. Elena Kırtcheva. In his speech, Dr. Akkan Suver said "the Vienna Economic Forum is a peaceful platform. Here people are able to express their ideas freely." Then, Mr. Vladimir Penkov presented the 15. Jubilee Medal of the Vienna Economic Forum to Dr. Akkan Suver. Prime Minister of Albania H.E. Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. Denis Zvizdić, Prime Minister of Kosovo H.E. The 35th Anniversary of the TRNC to be celebrated

The Consulate General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Istanbul held a reception on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Republic. In his speech, Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya extended his congratulations to all, and wished mercy for all the martyr and also beautiful and long life for all the veterans. Consul General of Istanbul Fahri Yönlüer emphasized that the TRNC was founded with a great deal of devotion. A pie was cut and some folklore groups from the TRNC made shows. Mr. Engin Köklüçınar and Mr. Cafer Okray attended the reception on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation. In addition to Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya and 1st Army General Musa Avsever, lots of veterans, politicians, economists also took part in the reception.

Dr. Akkan Suver and the Chairwoman of the Human Rights and EU Platform of the Marmara Group Foundation Mrs. Müjgan Suver presented detailed information about the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit to H.E. Mustafa Akıncı and invited him to the Summit which will be held on February 6-7, 2019. They talked about the main topics of presidential session of the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit "the development of technology and future of humanity, the role of the artificial intelligence in the realms of energy and economy and populism". During his acceptance, President Akıncı congratulated Dr. Akkan Suver who was awarded with the Decoration of Honour in Gold Medal at a ceremony held by Alexander Van der Bellen on November 12, 2018 ay the Austrian Embassy in Ankara.
