The 35th Anniversary of the TRNC to be celebrated
The Consulate General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Istanbul held a reception on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Republic.
In his speech, Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya extended his congratulations to all, and wished mercy for all the martyr and also beautiful and long life for all the veterans.
Consul General of Istanbul Fahri Yönlüer emphasized that the TRNC was founded with a great deal of devotion. A pie was cut and some folklore groups from the TRNC made shows.
Mr. Engin Köklüçınar and Mr. Cafer Okray attended the reception on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation. In addition to Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya and 1st Army General Musa Avsever, lots of veterans, politicians, economists also took part in the reception.
