Marmara Group Foundation is in Baku

President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and Secretary General Cafer Okray made several visits in the capital city of Azerbaijan, Baku, within the framework of the promotion visitings of the 26th Eurasian Economic Summit. Dr. Akkan Suver made the first visit to Prof. Dr. Nizami Caferov, President of Atatürk Center and Member of the Parliament of Azerbaijan. During the visit, Dr. Suver presented the official invitation of the 26th Eurasian Economic Summit to Prof. Dr. Nizami Caferov.

We lost Gökhan Tanrıverdi

We are in great pain of losing Gökhan Tanrıverdi, the husband of Belgin Tanrıverdi the Member of the Board of Trustees of the Marmara Group Foundation, at a young age. As the Marmara Group Foundation, we share the incurable pain of the esteemed Belgin Tanrıverdi and offer our condolences to her family and the Marmara Group Foundation community. Rest in peace. The body of the deceased Gökhan Tanrıverdi, will be Laid to rest on 17 December 2022 at Küçükçekmece Mehdiye Mosque after the noon prayer on Saturday.

Uzbekistan Signing Ceremony

Under the auspices of the Presidency of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies signed a goodwill agreement with the Marmara Group Foundation and took the decision to work in the field of civil society between Türkiye and Uzbekistan. On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and under the auspices of the Presidency of Uzbekistan and on behalf of the Uzbekistan Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies, Director Eldor Aripov was present and held the signing ceremony. After the signing ceremony, Director of Uzbekistan Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies, Eldor Aripov, gave a dinner in honor of Marmara Group Foundation.

Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations were discussed in Tashkent

Marmara Group Foundation held a Round Table meeting with Uzbekistan on Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations. The Round Table meeting, in which President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver presented a paper on Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations, started with the opening speech of Eldor Aripov. Starting with the speech of the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, Olgan Bekar, Daniyar Kurbanov, Alisher Kadyrov, Etibar Sultanov and Farrukh Khakimov made separate presentations at the Round Table Meeting. After the meeting directed by Furkat Yunusov, Uzbekistan Television talked about Dr. Akkan Suver and Türkiye- Uzbekistan relations.

Regarding the promotion of the 26th Eurasian Economic Summit, President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver, the delegation consisting of the Members of the Marmara Group Board of Trustees Mahmut Saklı, Mustafa Ergin, Faruk Gökyer and Ahmet Kılıç visit the Umurzakov Bakhodir Khamadovich, the Minister of State of Uzbekistan.
