AWC (Association of World Citizens), Consultative Member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, came together with the Marmara Group Foundation, a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, in Vienna on the 50th anniversary of its establishment and the 6th anniversary of the United Nations Conscience Day.
Dr. Akkan Suver also took the floor at the opening ceremony of the meeting organised in Vienna and held at the Vienna Hilton Hotel, where two of the world's leading non-governmental organisations came together.

Along with Dr. Akkan Suver, Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, Filip Vujanovic, former President of Montenegro, Moncef Marzouki, former President of Tunisia, Rosalia Arteaga Serrano, former President of Ecuador, Antoni Caramona, former President of Trinidad and Werner Fasslabend, former Minister of Defence of Austria took the floor separately and brought up the importance of peace, transparency, love and conscience.
