28th Eurasian Economic Summit Press Conference Held

The introductory meeting of the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, which will be held this year with the theme ‘Dialogue for a Livable World’, was held at Istanbul Fashion Academy. It is learned that more than 300 politicians, diplomats, academicians, faith leaders and business people from nearly 50 countries will attend the summit to be held in Istanbul on May 7-8. The countdown continues for the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, which will be organized by the Marmara Group Foundation (MGV) on May 7-8. More than 300 politicians, diplomats, academicians, religious leaders and business people from nearly 50 countries are expected to attend the summit. MGV President Dr. Akkan Suver, İHKİB Vice President Mustafa Paşahan and many press members attended the introductory meeting held at Istanbul Fashion Academy.

105th ANNIVERSARY OF APRIL 23

We are in the 105th year of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day. April 23rd is important for our country from two points of view. Firstly, the First Grand National Assembly was opened on this date, and secondly, in the years following the opening of the National Assembly, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated April 23rd as a holiday for all children. April 23, 1920 is the date when the First Grand National Assembly, representing the will of the Turkish nation, was opened and the Turkish people declared their sovereignty. On April 23, 1924, Atatürk decided to celebrate April 23 as a holiday. Five years later, on April 23, 1929, Atatürk dedicated this holiday to children and April 23 was celebrated as Children's Day for the first time in 1929. In the mind of the great leader Atatürk, children are the future of the nation. As an expression of his unwavering trust and great love for them, he dedicated April 23rd, our national holiday, to children. April 23rd is an important occasion for new generations to learn the proud pages of our history and for the new guardians of the Republic, to whom we will entrust the continuation of the Turkish State, to grow up with this awareness.
