The Marmara Group Foundation attended the official ceremonies held at the Edirnekapı Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Mr. Mustafa Ergin represented the Marmara Group Foundation at the official 10th-anniversary commemoration ceremonies held at the Edirnekapı Martyrs' Cemetery for July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
On the 10th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt, the Edirnekapı Martyrs' Cemetery saw a massive influx of visitors. As veterans and the families of martyrs relived the pain and pride of a decade ago, the Holy Quran was recited, and prayers were offered for the souls of the martyrs.
Istanbul Governor Hon. Davut Gül, Minister of Trade H. E. Ömer Bolat, Members of Parliament, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Hon.Nuri Aslan, and 1st Army Commander General Bahtiyar Ersay were also present at the commemoration ceremony.
