SLOVENIA

Marmara Group Foundation is a civilian bridge between Türkiye and Slovenia. In fact, Slovenia is one of the most intellectual countries living peacefully in the Balkan geography. Two major think tanks in Slovenia are two important centers in today's foreign policy and cultural life.

The Bled Strategic Forum is one of these centers. This Forum sets a course not only for the Balkans but also for the future of the whole world with its annual brainstorming events.

The second is the The Life Learning Academia. The Life Learning Academia, which is a school of thought to help people create a route for successful futures, awarded Dr. Akkan Suver the “Ambassador of Knowledge” diploma.

The Marmara Group Foundation has a strategic relationship with the Life Learning Academia through the Bled Strategic Forum, which brings together leading thinkers in foreign affairs who work on “mentors” and “mentoring” to enlighten people.

Former Slovenian Presidents Danilo Turk (2007-2012) and Borut Pahor (2012-2022) have always been very supportive of the work of the Marmara Group Foundation and honored the Eurasian Economic Summits. In addition, Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek is one of the important people participating in the work of the Marmara Group Foundation.

Again, we are honored to say that Prof. Dr. Danica Purg is the bridge builder between Slovenia and the Marmara Group Foundation. Marmara Group Foundation continues to work in the field of civil society for the stabilization of the Balkans by creating new road maps in the Balkan region with its civil society identity between Slovenia and Türkiye.
