Medal for Akkan Suver from Uzbekistan
On the occasion of an international conference in Tashkent, Dr. Akkan Suver, who was there together with Sezgin Bilgiç, was honored with a medal in a surprise gesture by the State of Uzbekistan.
The Medal Ceremony was organized by Kaxraman Ramatullayevich, Chairman of the Committee on Ethnic Relations and Relations with Compatriots Abroad of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was announced that Dr. Suver was awarded this medal for his long-standing contributions to peace and fraternity among peoples.
Following the reading of the State Decree, the medal was presented to Dr. Suver by Kaxraman Ramatullayevich.
In his speech, Dr. Akkan Suver expressed his gratitude, both personally and on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, to the State of Uzbekistan and to the Uzbek people.
After the ceremony, Dr. Akkan Suver and Sezgin Bilgiç presented the Commemorative Plaque of the Marmara Group Foundation to the Department of Ethnic Relations and Relations with Compatriots Abroad of the State of Uzbekistan.
