On the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the Independence of the State of Malta, a grand reception was held in Istanbul.

The reception, organized by H.E. Marisa Farrugia, Ambassador of Malta to Ankara, and Walter Mallia, Consul General of Malta in Istanbul, was attended by heads of foreign missions in Istanbul, state officials, and a distinguished group of guests.

Mahmut Saklı, Member of the Executive Council of the Marmara Group Foundation, was also present at the reception.
