Ladies,
Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation of Turkey, I would like to begin by respectfully greeting your High Delegation and congratulating you on Victory Day, November 8, which will be celebrated in two days.
In addition to the great social problems caused by wars, conflicts, destruction and involuntary migrations on our planet, the climate crisis, lack of water, deforestation and destruction of greenery are also signs of a separate disaster that is coming.
The world is gradually moving away from green, ecological life as well as human values. It is becoming detached.
In this environment, we, as Marmara Group Foundation, attach importance to the COP-29 meeting organized in Baku.
Because we accept this meeting as a call, an invitation, an opportunity for stability, for peace, for the future of humanity.
We do not see the invitation of Azerbaijan in this field limited to environmental, climate, green and water problems.
In our opinion, this invitation also contains the idea of creating a united front against wars, conflicts, genocides and involuntary migrations that humanity is facing.
We believe that the world leaders and experts will take Baku's call and invitation into consideration and by putting forward new initiatives they will create an international moral peace force and a philosophy of peace.
The fact that statesmen, religious leaders and people of thought have come together here adds a different meaning and value to this invitation.
Again, with my high belief in that the spiritual climate of this place will host this formation, I greet your delegation and wish you days full of peace and love.
