It has been 11 years since we bid farewell to Süleyman Demirel, the 9th President of Türkiye. President Süleyman Demirel, who honored the Marmara Group Foundation countless times during his presidency, also made significant contributions to the formation of the Eurasian Economic Summits. As the Marmara Group Foundation, we respectfully bow before the cherished memory of President Süleyman Demirel, who was also a recipient of the Marmara Group Foundation Honor Medal (2007). May he rest in peace.
