Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Balıkesir and President of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, hosted a dinner in honor of President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović on the last day of his visit to Türkiye, at Sait Halim Paşa Mansion on the Bosphorus.

The dinner, which was attended by a large number of distinguished guests, included Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut, former Minister Volkan Bozkır, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı, Head of International Relations of the Istanbul Municipality Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Metropolitan Maximos representing the Patriarchate, Honorary Consuls of Montenegro Şerif Tosyalı, Naser Alim, Hüseyin Erkan Yılmaz, as well as Cafer Okray, Sezgin Bilgiç, Ferit Sağ, Oğuzhan Ceylan, and Nihat Kandaloğlu from the Marmara Group Foundation.

President Jakov Milatović attended the dinner together with Irena Prelevic, Bojana Zulic, Milena Pejovic Erakovic, Ivan Vucinic, Sava Mirković, Istanbul Consul General Branislav Karadzic, Dusanka Jenkic, Drago Martinovic, and Eldina Micovic.

During the dinner, Dr. Akkan Suver delivered a speech in which he presented examples of cooperation between Türkiye and Montenegro and spoke about the Eurasian Economic Summits. At the conclusion of his remarks, Dr. Suver invited President Milatović to the 29th Eurasian Economic Summit.

In his response, President Jakov Milatović said that he would consider the invitation.
