A delegation headed by Yang Xiaoba, President of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference visited the Marmara Group Foundation.

During the visit, the members of the delegation stated that they are creating unity and solidarity between religions in China and presented information on this subject.

Stating that there are still around 200 million Taoists, Buddhists, Muslims, Catholics and Orthodox in China, President Yang Xiaoba stated that cooperation could be made in this field. Dr. Akkan Suver also explained the Intercultural Dialogue activities of the Marmara Group Foundation.

Marmara Group Foundation was represented at the meeting by Dr. Akkan Suver, Cafer Okray, Sezgin Bilgiç, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Oğuzhan Ceylan, Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel and Mahmut Saklı, while the Chinese delegation was represented by: Xang Xiaoba, Sun Xueyu, Dr. Biamba Lamu, Liu Xingyuan, Wei Hengchao and Gui Wujiu.
