On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press, the Jubilee Medal established to mark this milestone has been awarded to friends and supporters of the Marmara Group Foundation: Prof. Dr. Halid Niyazov, Emil Nasırlı, Sevinç Vaqıfkızı, and Yalçın Tahiroğlu.

This medal, which honors the historical role of the Azerbaijani press and its contributions to the formation of national consciousness and the development of social thought, symbolizes the dedication, professional competence, and sense of responsibility to society demonstrated by journalists who work in defense of freedom of expression and freedom of the press. At the same time, the Jubilee Medal carries significant moral value in terms of preserving the traditions of the Azerbaijani national press and passing them on to future generations.
