98. Gazi Race was held
The 98th edition of the Gazi Race, organized every year by the Turkish Jockey Club in memory of the great Atatürk, was held with a great turnout.
98. The winner of the Gazi Run was the thoroughbred horse named 'Dragon Flame', jockeyed by Akın Sözen and owned by Emrah Agun. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu gave the awards.
Approximately 50,000 people watched the 98th Gazi Run. Serdal Adalı, President of the Turkish Jockey Club and members of the Board of Directors, Ebubekir Gizligider, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, General Ali Sivri, Commander of Istanbul's 1st Army, and Şamil Ayrım, Istanbul MP and General Coordinator of the Eurasian Economic Summits of the Marmara Group Foundation, were among those who took part in the great event.
At the 98th Gazi Run, Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver and Executive Council Member Mahmut Saklı were also present.
