Bilateral relations were brought to the agenda with a Zoom conference organized by the Ankara Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

On the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party and the 50th Anniversary of relations between Turkey and China, Dr. Akkan Suver spoke at the online conference organized by the Ankara Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

In the conference which started with the opening speech of Liu Shaobin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, in addition to Dr. Akkan Suver, İhsan Beşer, Korhan Kurdogu, Hakan Celik, Ali Koçakoğlu, Hasan Capan, Zhou Yan Quan and Hilal Zorba made presentations.

Bringing the "Belt and Road Project" to the agenda as serious opportunities for the two countries, the speakers emphasized that there are opportunities in a number of areas from agriculture to transportation, from the development of technology products to the dissemination of digital trade channels. Speakers also stated that tourism may be the sector that can grow the fastest, and they believe that Ankara and Beijing have a lot to achieve together.
