We lost Former President of Bulgaria and the owner of Marmara Foundation Honorary medal Excellency Zhelyu Zhelev.

We present our condolences to Bulgarian people and we bow respectfully upon this great leader of humanity and his memory.

PRESS STATEMENT OF DR. AKKAN SUVER

One of the significant politicians of Bulgarian policy and as a leading philosopher of the modern Bulgaria former President H.E. Zhelyu Zhelev was a great leader who contributed extensive to the Balkan Political Club that he found for peace in the Balkans to create stability and peace to the Balkan Peninsula for years.

Zhelyu Zhelev was a personality who drew new paths for the World diplomacy. In 2002 H.E. Zhelev has enrolled Dr. Akkan Suver as a member to the Balkan Political Club. Later on, in 2002, Marmara Group Foundation has also accepted H.E. Zhelyu Zhelev as a Advisory Board Membership of Eurasian Economic Summits.

Bulgaria will commemorate Zhelyu Zhelev as a person who has brought the Democracy to their country and People of the World will remember him as a responsible humanist and successful person and leader made an effort in order to create a friendship bridge between Turkey and Bulgaria growingly for years.

Marmara Group Foundation will preserve his deepest memories forever.
