On 28.05.2022, we lost the President of Albania, Bujar Nishani (2012 - 2017), a friend of the Marmara Group Foundation and a regular at the Eurasian Economic Summits.

Albanian President Bujar Nishani, who is known for his work on peace, democracy and human rights in the Balkan geography, presented the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, with the Albanian Merit Medal on 7 June 2017.

The Marmara Group Foundation will remain faithful to the cherished memory of Bujar Nishani and will remember him as a friend of the Turkish Nation and the Balkan Geography.
