We have lost two important statesmen who played an active role in the world politics. On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver signed the Books of Condolences that were open in the Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul and the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul upon the deaths of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani who served as the President of Islamic Republic of Iran between 1989 and 1997 and Prof. Dr. Roman Herzog who served as the President of Federal Republic of Germany between 1994 and 1999.
