President Hong Liu and Secretary General Xiang Qionghua of the Sichuan Province People's Friendship with Foreign Countries (SIFA) gave an Official Dinner in honor of the Marmara Group Foundation. Speaking at the dinner, President Hong Liu pointed out the importance Dr. Akkan Suver attaches to the One - Belt One Road Project. Stating that the Marmara Group Foundation is an internationally recognized non-governmental organization, President Hong Liu said that the city of Chengdu is as close to history and nature as it bears the beauties of modernity and has started direct flights to Istanbul since April. Dr. Suver stated that they were happy to be in such a beautiful city and that what he saw in Chengdu bears signs of the great development of China. Expressing his admiration for the modern and harmonious development of Chengdu, Dr. Suver invited President Hong Liu to Istanbul. Dr. Akkan Suver, MP Tuğrul Türkeş, MP Şamil Ayrım, Prof. Dr. Sedat Aybar, Dr. Murat Aslan and İstikbal Deniz were also present at the dinner.
