An official reception was held on the occasion of the Nativity Day and Christmas of Istanbul Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Yusuf Çetin. Mayors, civil society leaders and political party representatives were present at the ceremony along with Syriac citizens.  After congratulating Dr Akkan Suver, Serhat Tabanca and Sezgin Bilgiç, who attended to the ceremony on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, at the ceremony delegation of Marmara Group Foundation met with the Mayor of the Islands Erdem Gül and the Mayor of Kadıköy Şerdil Dara Odabaşı.
