Marmara Group Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, located in Beijing, to carry out joint projects and activities in the field of civil society.

Dr. Akkan Suver signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, and Ambassador Li Jie signed on behalf of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was attended by Cafer Okray, Prof. Dr. Sema Kalaycıoğlu, Prof. Dr. İlter Turan, and Prof. Dr. Ersin Kalaycıoğlu representing the Marmara Group Foundation.
