The Marmara Group Foundation and the Uzbekistan Institute jointly organized a forum titled 'Türkiye-Uzbekistan Relations and the 100^th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye.'

The forum, attended by members of the Marmara Group Foundation including Dr. Akkan Suver, Member of Parliament OsmanMesten, Sezgin Bilgiç, Mustafa Ergin, Ferit Sağ, Hasan Yediyıldız, and Caner Dinçer, was held in the late President Islam Karimov's working office. Officials noted that this was the first time in years that the forum hall had been opened to a foreign delegation.

The Forum was also attended by Olgan Bekar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiyeto Tashkent, and Bakhromjon Aloev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Following the forum, Dr. Akkan Suver gave interviews to Uzbek television and journalists.

Our renowned historian, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı, also participated in the forum via video conference and delivered a speech highlighting the significance of Turkish-Uzbek cooperation and the 100^th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye.
