Ambassador Johannes Wimmer, the Austrian Ambassador to Ankara, hosted a farewell reception at the Austrian Embassy in Ankara on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

 

The farewell reception was attended by foreign mission chiefs and friends present in Ankara, with a significant turnout.

 

Among those present at the farewell reception were members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, as well as representatives from the Marmara Group Foundation, namely Dr. Akkan Suver, Sezgin Bilgiç, and Oğuzhan Ceylan.

 

In recognition of Ambassador Johannes Wimmer's high interest in the Marmara Group Foundation during his time in Ankara, Dr. Akkan Suver, Sezgin Bilgiç, Oğuzhan Ceylan, and Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay presented a commemorative gift as a token of gratitude.

 

Dr. Akkan Suver, Sezgin Bilgiç, and Oğuzhan Ceylan also presented a separate souvenir gift to Sharmila Singh-Wimmer, the wife of Ambassador Johannes Wimmer.
