We bid farewell to Alparslan Türkeş, the leading figure of the Turkish nationalist movement, on April 4, 1997.

On the 26th anniversary of Alparslan Türkeş's death, Dr. Akkan Suver published a message.

"Alparslan Türkeş, whom we lost 26 years ago, is a person who brought the Turkish nationalist movement to politics and steered Turkish politics with his party, which he headed.

Turkish nationalists owe him heart and loyalty.

Alparslan Türkeş - the leader who gave importance to civic thought and believed in the existence of civil society was regular at the meetings of the Marmara Group Foundation.

We bow respectfully before the memory of the saint."
