Happy 99th Year of 23rd April

23 April 1920 is the date when the First Grand National Assembly representing the will of the Turkish nation was opened and declared the sovereignty of the Turkish people.

On 23 April 1924, Atatürk decided to celebrate '23 April 'as a holiday. Five years later, on April 23, 1929, Atatürk gave this holiday to the children, and April 23 was first celebrated as Children's Day in 1929.

In 1979, with the participation of six countries in the first place, this national holiday, which we move to the international dimension, is attended by foreign children who are guests of Turkish children from more than forty countries every year. Turkey is the first and only country in the whole world that shares a holiday with children all around the world
Happy 23rd April to our nation and all children.
