Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Eurasian Research Institute under Remnin  University of China along with President of Montenegro (2003-2018) Filip Vujanovic, Academician David Sandalow, Politician Brice Lalonde, Economist John Hearn, Economist Yaroslav Lissavolik and Researcher Surasit Thanadtang on the subject of the importance of the Belt and Road Initiative in the post-pandemic era. The inaugural ceremony and the forum was defined as a success by many measures as it was an impressive gathering of government leaders, officials of international organizations, academics and think tank scholars. Over 60 speakers shared their valuable insights and expert views on the "Belt and Road" and the development of Eurasian areas.

“Dear Participants,

We are holding on and keep going despite Covid-19. Although we did not spend the last two years in the traditional way, we were able to continue our works and commitments somehow.

Today we continue our works under the conditions of Covid-19, although not as strict as before.

As you know, as the Marmara Group Foundation, we consider the Belt and Road Initiative as the peace project of our generation. Although it comes to the fore as a win-win project in the economic, social and cultural fields, in our opinion, it is a peace and stability project.

For this reason, with this opportunity, I would like to invite the esteemed audience to attend the 25th Eurasian Economic Summit, which will take place on 7-8-9 June 2022.

At the 25th Eurasian Economic Summit, which we will hold this year on June, we will again discuss the global importance of the Belt and Road Initiative.

In addition, I would like to emphasize that as the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, I talked about the Belt and Road project at the national and international meetings I attended during the pandemic. Also, especially at the 23rd and 24th Eurasian Economic Summits we held in 2020 and 2021, we focused on Belt and Road Initiative.

I would also like to gladly state that diplomats, thinkers and academics from the People’s Republic of China took part in our Summits.
