Dr. Akkan Suver spoke at the United Nations Education D

 At the event organized for the United Nations World Education Day, Dr. Akkan Suver addressed the world by making a speech. Among the speakers including (President of Ethiopia) Sahle-Work Zewde, (President of the World Federation of Peace and Love) Hong Tao-Tze (Minister of Education and Sports of Malta) Clifton Grima, President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver emphasized the importance of education in life in his speech.

Dr. Suver's speech is as follows:

"Dear audience and FOWPAL family;

As a matter of fact, COVID-19 has reminded us of some values we have forgotten. Because, the people who became lonelier and more egoistic every day before Covid-19 realized the importance of global unity and global responsibility two years ago.

Covid-19 has reminded and taught us, although bitterly, that solutions should now be created by common mindset, common will and cooperation.

Conscience is one of the first subjects that the pandemic taught and reminded us.

If people lived with conscience, would there be natural disasters, climate disasters, lack of love, wars?

Would nature leave people longing for a drop of water?

Would we feel cold in summer?

Would people kill people from the same religion in the name of religion?

Would women be killed?

Would children go to work instead of going to school?

Would there be forced migration?

In fact, a little conscience would be enough to stop them.

Therefore, the virtue of the importance that the FOWPAL Family attaches to conscience is self-evident.

Is it too much to ask people to have a little conscience?

With these feelings, I greet you all from Istanbul. Thank you for your attention."
