Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech in 1st South Caucasus For

1st South Caucasus Forum, which took place in Baku on May 6-8, started it’s works with opening speech of President of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev.

Forum organized by Club de Madrid and Nizami Ganjavi International Center.

Azerbaijan news agency AzerTac announced speech of Dr. Suver:

“In his speech, President of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Suver told: I believe that in current era, setting up a road map to peace for stability and prosperity should be our target in 21st century. This road map will have a power to clear away conflicts, clashes and any kind of extremism that threats humanity.

 If we want to shape a philosophy of peace and sagacity for richer and more developed future we should let the chips fall as they may. We need more tolerance and empathy. Tolerance and empathy will open to door of peace.“

Dr. Suver is in Azerbaijan State television

In the 1st South Caucasus Forum Dr. Suver had bilateral meetings with; President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, Former President of Romania Emil Constantinescu, Former President of Uruguay Luis Alberto Lacalle Herrera, Former President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey, Former President of Bolivia Jorge Quıroga, Former President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Former President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Wim Kok, Former President of Mauritius Cassam Uteem and Former Prime Minister of Romania Petre Roman.
