Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, visited the city of Samarkand.

On the city tour which started with a visit to the mausoleum of the Great Emperor Amir Timur in the historical city of Samarkand, Dr. Akkan Suver visited the mausoleum of Bibi Khanym as well as the Ulugh Beg Madrasa, Şirdar Madrasa, Tilla Kari Madrasa and Mosque in the Registan Square.

Dr. Akkan Suver who visited a paper mill from the 19th century experienced paper making in the old fashioned way.
