In the extraordinary General Assembly of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver has been re-elected to presidency.

In the General Assembly that has been taken place under the presidency of the Board Committee consisted of Leyla Tavşanoğlu, Sebahat Darendeliler, Yalçın Sönmez, Dr. Hüseyin Avcı, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu, Nuri Artok and Ertuğrul Kumcuğlu, Dr. Akkan Suver has delivered a speech, stating that in 2013 they will organize events and conduct Works regarding Turkey’s EU Membership both in the international efforts and through Eurasian Economic Summit with their civil society identity.

At the end of the General Assembly the following alteration took place through elections;  Engin Köklüçınar as the Vice-President, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu as Secretary General, Şamil Ayrım as General Financial Secretary, Yüksel Çengel, Cengiz Güldamlası, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Cafer Okray and Aykut Eken as members of the Executive Council.
