The Xinhua Institute, based in Beijing, conducted a working visit to the Marmara Group Foundation regarding the Belt and Road Initiative.

In attendance at the workshop were Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver, Cafer Okray, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel, Serhat Tabanca, Belgin Tanrıverdi, Ümran Köksüz, Prof. Dr. Figen Yıldırım, and Recep Ergin from the Marmara Group Foundation. During the workshop, the values of the Belt and Road Initiative, now in its tenth year, were discussed.

Dr. Akkan Suver briefed the Xinhua Institute guests on the recent activities related to the Belt and Road Initiative carried out by the Marmara Group Foundation in Tashkent, Bishkek, Sofia, and Istanbul over the past fifteen days.
