In cooperation with the Consulate General of Belarus in Istanbul together with Dr. Bülent Kerimoğlu, Mayor of Bakırköy, Belarusian Friendship Park was opened in Bakırköy.

During the opening ceremony which is attended by Andrey Buravov, Consul General of the Russian Federation, Oleksandr Gaman, Consul General of Ukraine, Aleksei Shved, Consul General of Belarus and Mayor of Sovietsky, Dr. Bülent Kerimoğlu, Mayor of Bakırköy, emphasized that they are brotherly cities together with Belarus's Sovietsky.

Dr. Akkan Suver, President of Marmara Group Foundation and Ali Rıza Arslan, Vice President of Marmara Group Foundation attended the opening ceremony on behalf of Marmara Group Foundation.
