Anniversary of the Shusha Declaration
On the first anniversary of the Shusha Agreement signed between Turkey and Azerbaijan and on the 100th anniversary of the Kars Agreement, after Azerbaijan's Homeland War, Marmara Group Foundation Chairman Dr. Akkan Suver made a statement to the Azerbaijani press.
Dr. Akkan Suver said the following in summary:
"- Today, when we realize the anniversary of the Shusha Agreement, we are in the high happiness of seeing the reality of one nation, two states again.
The Shusha Agreement is a peace agreement. The Shusha Agreement, which not only covers the fields of economy, energy and defense, but also gives a message of unity to the Turkish World, is an exemplary contract that will guide not only the Caucasus geography but also the world of humanity.
With this honorable agreement signed on the centennial of the Kars Agreement, the enemy of Azerbaijan is the enemy of Turkey, and the enemy of Turkey is the enemy of Azerbaijan. Common defense, common energy and common economy ideas are another guarantee of our future. "
