‘’Best Youth and Women's Practices in Policy and Decision Making’’ Seminar Was Held!

 ‘’Best Youth and Women's Practices in Policy and Decis

"Best Youth and Women’s Practices in Policy and Decision Making" seminar was held on Thursday, February 20 at the Team Campus of Beykent University. Mine Ekinci, the founder of the Village Schools Exchange Network (KODA) and the 2019 ASHOKA Fellow, was the guest speaker at the seminar, moderated by Evrim Timur and Zeynep Baykal. After the opening speech of Müjgan Suver, the project coordinator, Zeynep Baykal introduced herself and mentioned about the content of the seminar. Afterwards, the word was left to Ekinci by Evrim Timur.

Graduating from the Politics and International Relations Department of Boğaziçi University, Ekinci stated that her main area of interest is the handling of politics within a philosophical dimension and its practice in daily life rather than the agenda politics. Adopting social justice and equality in opportunity, Ekinci stated that she has been involved in social participation since the age of 13 and participated in the voluntary networks of different non-governmental organizations.
