 18th EURASIAN ECONOMIC SUMMIT ENDED WITH THE ‘’DIALOGUE’’ THOUGHT IN THE SILK ROAD ECONOMIC BELT

Preparations that started on April 7 2015 of the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit ended yesterday on 9 Nisan 2015.

Organizing with 9 different meetings in 3 days, during the 18th Economic Summit, besides the economy, energy and information technologies, also special sessions as economy – democracy relations and where the humanity goes were actualized.

With participation of 44 countries, while the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented at Presidential level.

As for Azerbaijan participated into the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit representing with Vice – President.

Attended 24 leaders during the Closing Session, including 11th President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Abdullah GÜL, three actual, totally twelve Presidents discussed the actual situation of humanity and where the humanity goes.

Impressing the importance of the dialogue within 18th Eurasian Economic Summit, the participants insistently and carefully have pointed out the significance of stability, universal qualities of the peace and United Nations Millennium convocations.

Participants emphasized the disputes could be solved under the favored of dialogue, and they brought into not to meddle into domestic affairs as well. 

During the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit which TANAP and TAP project were extensively described within the field of Energy, speakers brought forward the cruciality of the 1800 kilometers pipe line in order to realize the projects.  Especially stressing the protection of the flora and the old artifacts and the length of the pipe line to be passing through under the sea, speakers urged upon not only to evaluate as an energy pipe line, and the necessity of  should be considered as a stability and democracy projects.

Expressing the TANAP will prevent the energy using as a weapon, the speakers, as putting the importance of the Silk Road project,  remarked that today the energy lines have subrogated the simple cloth trades which Caravans had realized yesterday , and the information technologies  have created a peace philosophy that reaching out from Beijing to China.

As well as the significance of energy and telecommunication, Speakers stated Silk Road Economic Belt that was discussed through the cultural and social dimension, as a stability and prosperity project.

Starting with the Fashion Show was arranged under the leadership of IHKIB, performed by the famous designer NEJ, within the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit as part of the cultural dimensions, Jokey Club of Turkey organized a Horse Race competition. President of the Montenegro H.E. Filip Vujanovic presented the award to thewinner Jockey of the Eurasian Economic Summits Cup Race.

On the occasion of the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit, postage stamps compressed by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Transportation were also distributed to the Summit participants.

Summit started with the messages of President Aliyev and the General Director of UNESCO Irina Bokovo.

The opening of the Summit was made by Dr. Akkan Suver. Afterwards Vice- President of Executive Board of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Gökhan Murat KALSIN, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Temel KOTİL, Deputy Secretary of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Amb. Traian CHEBELEU, On behalf of Istanbul Municipality Prof. Dr. Erman TUNCER, Governor of Istanbul Vasip ŞAHIN take the floor.

After the speech of Former Chancellor of Austria - President of Vienna Economic Forum Dr. Erhard BUSEK, as Keynote speaker, President of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko CAVARA

President of Macedonia Gjorge IVANOV, President of Montenegro H.E. Filip VUJANOVIC made a speech. After this speeches, Secretary General of World Mongol Convention, Amb. Dagva Tsakhilga read the letter of the President of Mongolia. Later on the MEDAL OF HONOR CEREMONY TO MEMBERS WHO COMPLETED TEN YEARS held.

ECONOMY DEMOCRACY RELATION - "Social Inequality" session started with the recital.

Chairwoman of EU and Human Rights Platform of Marmara Group Foundation made the opening speech as a moderator.  Afterwards the session started with the presentations of Vice Rector of the Istanbul Kemerburgaz University - İstanbul Prof.Dr. Emre Alkin, Bahçeşehir University - Head of the Sociology Department - Istanbul Prof.Dr. Nilüfer Narlı, Founder & CEO, Global Thinkers – England Elizabeth Filippouli.
