Dr. Akkan Suver received the Heydar Aliyev Centenary Medal by decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his contributions to Turkiye-Azerbaijan relations.

Ambassador Reshad Mammadov praised Dr. Suver's decades of work bringing the two nations and their business communities closer.

Dr. Suver said the medal was not merely an honour but a responsibility to work harder for humanity, peace, dialogue and more productive projects.

He noted Azerbaijan's longstanding support for the Eurasian Economic Summits and expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani state and Ambassador Mammadov.

Dr. Suver has also received Azerbaijan's Progress Medal and Order of Friendship.
