A Foundation delegation visited Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to brief him on the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit.

The delegation presented the official letter announcing that he would receive the Ahmet Samsunlu Environment Award during the Foundation's 40th anniversary.

In his response, the Patriarch said awards are distinguished symbols of remembrance and appreciation and expressed honour at receiving an award created in memory of the Foundation's deceased friends.
