Dongduk Women's University in South Korea announced the simultaneous launch of the world's first comprehensive graduate Department of K-Silk Road Turkic World Studies and an undergraduate Silk Road Korean Studies Program within its International Faculty.

Led by Korean Turkologist Prof. Dr. Eunkyung Oh, the initiative is highly significant as a new international education model connecting Korea and the Turkic world.
