The GAP Journalists Association and the Turkish-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated the Republic's 102nd anniversary at a ceremony in the Presidential Palace in Bucharest.

Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Prof. Dr. Kursat Zorlu, Romanian officials and former presidents and prime ministers attended.

Dr. Akkan Suver received the Association's 2025 Journalist of the Year Award from Chamber President Tamer Atalay in recognition of his journalism and services promoting the Balkans.
