A Marmara Group Foundation delegation led by Dr. Akkan Suver and including Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel and Zafer Yılmaz paid a working visit to Istanbul Acting Mayor Nuri Aslan.

The delegation briefed him on the 29th Eurasian Economic Summit, scheduled for 11–13 May 2026, and invited him to attend. Dr. Suver also presented his newly published book The Future of Eurasia.
